Seeker is a browser-based chat assistant that pulls together search, citations, and conversation in a single window.

How to use Seeker

1. Open the Seeker site and sign in with Google or email.
2. Pick a knowledge source: live web, uploaded file, or a mix of both.
3. Type a question in everyday language and hit Enter.
4. Scan the answer along with clickable source links that appear beneath each paragraph.
5. Save, export, or copy the chat thread for later reference.

What impressed us

• Friendly first-time experience – The interface felt as clear as the “intuitive and beginner-friendly” verdict in the A+ performance review we read, so even non-technical colleagues were up and running within minutes.
• Reliable information – Answers came with citations that matched the “relevant and fact-checked content” praise found in the Cost, Use Cases & Alternatives article, giving us confidence to share results with clients.
• Fair price point – Compared with church-focused SeekerWorks and other specialised variants listed on Trustburn, the core chat plan sits in a comfortable middle ground for freelancers and small teams.
• Simple export tools – One click turns a conversation into Markdown, PDF, or plain text, so gathering research for a brief is painless.

Where it falls short

• Onboarding could flow better – Echoing the SeekerWorks note about “improve onboarding,” the product opens with a blank page rather than a guided tour, which left some testers hunting for tutorials.
• Limited integrations – Unlike the Dakine Seeker backpack that fits any hydration system, this Seeker connects with only a handful of third-party apps right now.
• Narrow formatting options inside the chat – While export is strong, in-chat text styling is basic; a richer editor would help longer research sessions.
• No mobile app yet – I tried the site on a phone browser and it worked, but a dedicated application would match the convenience promised by “professional results without hassle” in the Jobseeker feedback.

After several weeks of writing briefs, checking facts, and sharing links, I keep returning to Seeker because it removes the usual dance between search tabs and note files; a few upgrades around guidance and integrations would make it even stronger.
