2. Launch the automated scanner to tag personal or regulated fields.
3. Create fine-grained policies inside the policy manager dashboard.
4. Push those rules to connected warehouses or lakehouses.
5. Track enforcement and review detailed audits in the monitoring area.

Drawbacks

• Initial deployment needed broad cloud privileges, so I had to involve our platform administrators.
• Standard connectors cover mainstream warehouses, yet a smaller PostgreSQL cluster required a custom integration.
• Policy simulation felt slow on very wide tables with thousands of columns.
