How to use Eightify

1. Install the extension from the Eightify site or the Chrome Web Store.
2. Open any YouTube video and click the new “Summarise” button beside the title.
3. Wait a few moments while Eightify scans the transcript and generates its eight-point outline.
4. Browse the summary, then tap a point to jump to the exact timestamp in the clip if you need extra detail.
5. Glance at the highlighted top comments shown underneath the outline to catch the mood of the crowd.
6. Rate the summary; high scores prompt a public review window, while lower scores open a private feedback form that goes straight to the developers.
7. Copy or share the outline with classmates, colleagues or anyone who might benefit from a trimmed-down version of the original video.
